Rules
IGbid is a public Board. Rank is the Active total. Nothing else.
How ranking works
- New Listings start at $1. Whole US dollars only. Max target is $9,999.
- Taking #1 costs at least $1 more than the current top Active total. Paying less still lands at whatever Rank that target can take — except targets that would overtake #1 by less than $1, which are rejected.
- The amount you enter is your target Active total. New Listings pay that full amount. Owners already on the board pay only the difference to reach a higher target.
- Equal Active totals keep the older Listing above.
- Each Bid stays Active for 30 days from payment, then drops off. IGbid does not auto-renew. IGbid does not refund.
- If Creem reverses a payment, that Bid stops counting and Rank can fall.
What you can list
- An Instagram account, an X account, or a website. One Canonical URL is one Listing after normalization.
- Bare
@handlemeans Instagram. Usex/@handleor an x.com / twitter.com profile URL for X. Ordinary websites are keyed by origin (one site → one Listing). App Store, Play Store, GitHub, and similar platform links are keyed by path. Tracking query strings are ignored. - Chat invites, shorteners, phishing, NSFW, and malware are not allowed. Shortener hosts are rejected at submit time; they are not expanded. Profile posts and status URLs are rejected — use the profile itself.
Ownership
You must sign in to Bid. The first paid Bid on a Canonical URL becomes the Owner. Only the Owner can add Bids or edit Name, Blurb, and Mark.
After you pay
- The Listing is public on the Board.
- Clicks leave the Board for the Canonical URL through a hop that counts once per click.
- We email the Owner before an Active Bid expires. Rank falls when that Bid drops off.
IGbid is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta.
